Geranium Bourbon: Oil is steam-distilled from the petals, leaves and stalks of a flower that originates from the former French colony of Île de Bourbon (east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean). The green, leafy-rose top note has sweet, herbaceous and lemony undertones, which contrast perfectly with the sharper, fiery, woody and Oriental notes of the Black Pepper.

Black Pepper: A perennial vine with white flowers which grow first into berries, then peppercorns. Oil is extracted from the berries via steam-distillation before they ripen, preserving a sweeter scent. This adds a complex, darker woody undertone to the herbaceous Geranium.

Gnarly Joe® Face Serum has been designed as a flexible, any-time-of-day face moisturiser, and anti-ageing and anti-wrinkle treatment for tired skin (kind enough to use every day).

First, wash your face to remove dirt, grease and blockages from your pores. Shake the bottle before opening. This Serum is concentrated so you only need to dispense between 2-4 drops into your hand. Rub your palms together to gently warm the natural oils, before applying evenly to your face. A little goes a long way and you won’t need much, which means that this small, powerful 30ml bottle should last a long time.

The plant oils within this moisturiser are thick and you may find it a little greasy on application. It will therefore take longer to absorb into the skin than traditional moisturisers, so spend a couple of minutes massaging the Serum into your face.
