The key ingredients are Organic Shea, Argan and Jojoba Butters. Shea Butter is extracted from a nut which is crushed, roasted and ground until it forms a creamy paste. This Leave-In Overnight Hair Conditioning Balm is scented using three natural plant oils:

Lavender, Clary Sage and Mandarin. These blended essential oils are underpinned by the soft nutty foundation of Shea Butter.

Lavender: A relaxing, clean, floral top-note, the plant oil is extracted from the flowering tops of the Lavandula Angustifolia shrub. Lavender has unique qualities which can help induce sleep, relaxation and wellbeing.

Clary Sage: This sweet, musky and herbaceous scent is steam-distilled from the small, white flowering tops of a tall, biennial herb with purple and green leaves.

Mandarin: Plant oil is expressed from the nearly-ripe peel of Mandarins sourced from Brazil. Mandarin provides a delicate sweet edge to the conditioner, with a warming base-note.

Apply before going to bed and use on either wet or dry hair. The butters and plant oils are exceptionally thick and concentrated, so most hair lengths won’t need much conditioner (a little will go a long way).

To avoid overloading your hair and making it greasy, start with just a small scoop on the end of a finger, rubbed between your palms to melt the balm and warm the oils. Distribute evenly throughout your hair for at least two minutes, using your fingertips to massage the scalp whilst applying (this will stimulate blood circulation, which encourages healthy hair growth). Repeat as necessary to ensure complete coverage and finally, comb through. Wash out in the morning. Kind enough to use every night.

The centre of each of your hairs is called the Medulla, and is either hollow and tube-like, or contains fragmented cells. Once you’ve melted this hair conditioner by rubbing it between your palms, the concentrated oils penetrate and fill the hollow cores of your hairs to give volume and body. The natural ingredients then condition your individual hairs from the inside out, throughout the night. Nutrients are released whilst you sleep, which deliver moisture and add shine and bounce to your hair by morning.
