You should notice a very subtle and soothing cooling effect on your face, which is supplied by the Menthone content in the Peppermint. Essential Peppermint Oil is steam-distilled from the flowering tops and leaves of the Mentha Piperita herb (sourced from the USA).

The fresh and bright minty top notes of Peppermint blend perfectly with the sweet woody and balsamic scent of Scandinavian Pine Oil, which is gently dry-distilled to extract the oils whilst maintaining the integrity of the potent natural ingredients. Pine adds a fresh and sweet top-note, with woody and balsamic undertones. These balanced scents are designed to awaken and stimulate. Start your day by breathing in the fresh morning air of the mountainside.

Use every morning. First, wash your face to remove dirt, grease and blockages from your pores.

Shake the bottle before opening. This moisturiser is concentrated so you only need to dispense between 2-4 drops into your hand. Rub your palms together to gently warm the natural oils, before applying evenly to your face. A little goes a long way and you won’t need much, which means that this small, powerful 50ml bottle should last a long time.

The plant oils within this moisturiser are thick and you may find it a little greasy on application. It will therefore take longer to absorb into the skin than traditional moisturisers. It will work throughout the day, penetrating the skin membrane and hydrating and nourishing your cells from within.

Apricot Kernel Oil is extracted from the soft fleshy centre of the Apricot stone and is an excellent natural moisturiser. It contains high levels of Oleic acid, which means that it shares a great affinity with the skin and is easily absorbed. It also contains Vitamins A and E which are excellent for nourishing dry and mature skin, and is a natural aid to restoring skin elasticity as we grow older.

Safflower is a herbaceous, thistle-like plant originating from Mexico, with bright yellow flowering heads. The oil is obtained from the plant by pressing, and it's a potent skin-hydrator which assists your skin's ability to retain water and moisture, thus helping the anti-ageing process. Safflower helps to give the skin a healthy glow, as well as promoting skin-suppleness and elasticity, thereby reducing the visible appearance of fine lines and facial wrinkles.

Grapeseed Oil has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and anti-oxidant properties. It’s rich in Omega chain fatty acids, which not only makes it a great treatment for acne (by attacking harmful bacteria), but it's a natural way to improve your skin's elasticity and softness.

Camellia Oil is a rich source of Omega-6 Linoleic fatty acids, and has numerous anti-ageing polyphenol antioxidants.
