The uniting scents of these three face care products are Spearmint and Lavender.

Refreshing Spearmint: A refreshing and invigorating scent, which is sweeter than Peppermint, and doesn't have the menthone content which gives a cooling effect on the skin. The essential Spearmint oil in this formulation is stem-distilled from the leaves of Spearmint plants sourced from the USA.

Relaxing Lavender: The Lavender Essential Oil in Gnarly Joe® Complexion Booster is sourced from Bulgaria (due to the perfect growing climate and soil conditions), and is extracted from the flowering tops of the plant. Lavender has unique therapeutic qualities which helps induce relaxation, and balance emotions. Research suggests that Lavender may be useful in treating anxiety, insomnia, depression and restlessness.

First, wash your face to remove dirt, grease and blockages from your pores. First, take the Exfoliating Face Scrub and shake the bottle vigorously (to ensure that the powdered Jojoba grains haven't settled). Wet your face with tepid water. Pour just a small (five to ten pence-piece-sized), dollop into your palm. Rub your palms together and then distribute the exfoliating wash around your face evenly, to form a rich lather. Now use your fingertips to work the exfoliating wash (and Jojoba grains), into your skin. Massage your face gently for two minutes. This will allow the finely-powdered grains to gently peel away old, dead skin, revealing fresh new skin underneath.

Complexion Booster: Shake the bottle before opening. This serum is super-concentrated so you only need to dispense between 2-4 drops into your hand. Rub your palms together to gently warm the natural oils before applying evenly to your face. A little goes a long way and you won’t need much, which means that this small, powerful 50ml bottle should last a long time (up to 8 months). The plant oils within this moisturiser are thick and you may find it a little greasy on application. It will therefore take longer to absorb into the skin than traditional moisturisers.

Revitalising Cream: Use your index finger to first spread equal parts of the cream onto both cheeks and your forehead, and then use the fingertips to massage thoroughly into your face. Start with a small amount and repeat and build if necessary.

You can either alternate your use of Complexion Booster and Revitalising Cream on a daily basis, or if your skin needs a boost of moisture and hydration, you can use both and layer them (use the Complexion Booster first).

Hazelnut Oil has an immediate softening effect on the skin and contains Oleic (a fatty acid which is excellent for replenishing lost moisture, especially in dry, damaged and ageing skin).
