Gnarly Joe® African Black Soap Shampoo is made entirely with natural ingredients and is different to anything you’ve tried before. Even though it’s thin and watery in viscosity, it’s concentrated and deceptively powerful (a little goes a long way, which means this bottle will last a long time). Due to the Cocoa Pod Ash used in the formulation, it’s dark brown in colour and immediately forms a rich, white lather.

How to Use

Don’t be fooled by the thin and runny viscosity of the Shampoo; it’s more concentrated than you think and you shouldn’t need much, even for long hair. Start by dispensing one full pump into your palm and massage thoroughly into your wet hair. A rich white lather will immediately form and, if necessary, you can repeat the dose at this point. Spend two minutes using your fingers to massage the Shampoo thoroughly into your scalp and hair, getting right down to the base of the follicles. This massaging action will also stimulate blood flow, assisting in healthy hair growth. Rinse out with warm water and dry with a towel.

As part of your hair care, finish off with Gnarly Joe® Leave-In Overnight Hair Conditioner, to lock moisture in and continue hydrating your hair throughout the night.

This shampoo has transformed my hair

My husband has been buying this shampoo for a while and I first used it when my own shampoo of another brand ran out. It is no exaggeration to say that it has completely transformed the texture of my hair. I have very long and thick and wavy hair and I have never found a shampoo that I could just wash with and leave my hair to dry. But that's exactly what I do now. I would never buy any other shampoo! Using a very small amount, my hair feels so clean and soft. It's amazing!

Great shampoo.

I’ve been using natural olive oil/ tallow soap bars for a while but doing they dried my hair. Since I’ve used this it’s a lot better, a small amount lathers up my hair and helps it stay soft. I’d definitely recommend and I will be using it from now on.

Face wash & shampoo is first class

Good Shampoo

Easy lathers and only requires small amount - chose this product after trying the Body Wash. All Natural ingredients, works well in the cleaning, and aroma is not too strong on the nose! Love it.
